How to Make Powerful Personality
We all want that other people like us in a positive manner. We try to influence other person and make lasting impression on people around us. For this, you need to do certain changes in your life style and routine. With hard work and passion you can cultivate changes in your personality. Here are some tips to better your life:
1. Try to Look “Good”:
At first sight, a person is judged by his physical personality as it is
said-First impression is the last impression. Try to look good and you will
feel good about yourself. It will increase your confidence level also.
2. Positivity:
Don’t have negative thoughts/things/people; instead invest your energy in the
positive things, thoughts and people. Develop a positive thinking and positive
attitude: Avoid negative attitude towards life, as positive thinking is the key
to success in any field of life. Replace positive thinking into positive doing
also. Many a times, we think of so many positive things and like to do them,
but the fear of failure or difficulties
stop us from turning those positive thoughts into reality.
3. Be Confident but
don’t be over-confident. Don’t doubt yourself. You should have confidence in
your eyes, voice and your face too, which should obviously reflect to others.
Self-confidence: Have a firm faith, determination and confidence in
you. If you are sure in your decision, you will put your best efforts to
achieve the goals.
4. Work Management:
Make
a “task to do” list on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Be organized and systematic in every field of life, increasing the
efficiency and tackling the difficulties and obstacles by planning and
anticipation. The more organized you are, the more focused you will be for your
goals of life. Organize your thoughts
and emotions.
5. Time Management:
Don’t waste your time and energy on gossips. Be organized, clear and goal
directed. Proper time management improves your work efficiency and makes you
able to reach the success.
-Don’t Waste or Spend
Time rather “Invest time”.
-Maintain a Planner and make a task to
do list for every day.
-Make a Priority list of task according
to their importance.
-Don’t delay your
decisions as it wastes a lot of your time.
-Don’t think of past
instead, use today’s time for tomorrow’s planning.
-Don’t Overdo-Keep your limits.
6. Having
a Sense of Humor in a plus. Know the right time
to laugh. It’s good to crack a few jokes every now and then, but don’t overdo
it. Maintain a good sense of humor and learn to laugh at yourself too.
7. Maintain a good Life Style
–as it is a key to healthy body and sound mind.
-Don’t be a fast food junkie.
-Have a balanced diet that
contains lots of green leafy vegetables & fruits.
-Say “No” to alcohol, smoking or
sleeping pills.
-Reduce your intake of tea or
coffee as caffeine is very harmful for your body.
8. Be a Good Speaker: Don’t be
afraid to talk to others: Always look people in the eye when
you are talking to them. It makes you appear more confident. It is very
important aspect of good personality.
9. Concentrate on your Goals:
Be focused and concentrate on your goals. Avoid all the distractions and put
your entire attention to one goal at a time. By doing this you will be able to identify
the obstacles and once you identify the obstacles, half of your job is done. Take
all the decisions confidently, never depend on anyone for
taking the decisions on your behalf.
10. Don’t afraid of obstacles:
Obstacles test your capabilities and you should not let them bother you too much.
Just think of your past accomplishments. It will give you a sense of
confidence. Face these new challenges, do your best under all circumstances and
you will feel the great feeling of accomplishment. Face failure with confidence: Analyze your mistakes and learn
lesion from them. No one is perfect on this earth.
11. Feel good about your accomplishments and
maintain a list of them. Every time you achieve some goal, give yourself a reward.
Focus on every problem according to its priority.
12. Be a true friend of yourself:
Spend some time in your company. Introspect and try to recognize your
weaknesses as well as strong points. Jot them down on a paper and start working
on your weaknesses to replace them with your strong qualities.
13. Balance is the key to life:
Strike a balance among your personal, professional and social life, for harmony
and happiness.
-Don’t bring office work at home,
and
-In office, be determined to give
your 100%.
14. Sleep for at least 7-8 hours
a day, if you don’t sleep for adequate amount of time, your efficiency
decreases and it hampers your productivity.
15. Develop a Social circle
and try to spend your time with people who have positive attitude towards life.
Do Prosocial behavior often. Try to be in touch and contribute to community
issues and learn to make social networking and interactions.
16. Keep your Body Fit: Indulge
in some physical activities like brisk walk, swimming, aerobics, yoga and
meditation. Don’t be a workaholic. Keep some time for relaxation and
recreational activities. It really helps to eliminate stress and anxiety from
your life. Practice Yoga &
Meditation to improve your concentration and decision making quality. Practice
breathing techniques for relaxation.
-Listen to Music.
-Enjoy Nature.
-Take a small break/holiday and
go to a nearby hill station and enjoy it.
