Emotional Intelligence EQ, has stressed the importance of “the capacity to soothe oneself, to shake off rampant anxiety, gloom or irritability. People who are poor in this ability are constantly battling feelings of distress, while those who excel in it can bounce back far more quickly from life’s upsets”. From this perspective, the art of soothing ourselves is a fundamental life skill and most essential of all psychic tools.
Sometimes
people feel intense emotions and behave in a wrong way. Under the influence of
intense emotion their logical thinking ability seriously pushed aside. People
who truly practice these virtues to everyone they meet can be true to
themselves and still stand out.
1. Live with three E’s: Energy,
Enthusiasm & Empathy.
2. Be Kind and
considerate. Show basic courtesies
to other people.

Be Polite, give honest and sincere replies.
4. Be a Good Listener.
5. Don’t
be Loud: other people find noisy people to be annoying; we don’t want
that, do we?

Shout or don’t be aggressive.
7. Know
when to speak up.
8. Never Boost of yourself.
9. Be Loyal, Honest, and Truthful.
10. Never
Slouch (awkward, “bhaddi chal se chlna”).

a Smart head and Keep cool.
12. Control your Fears and Worries: Conquer
your fears and worries, stress and anxiety. When these thoughts come into your
mind, instead of wasting your time in thinking what will happen to you in
future, think of new ideas and solutions.
